We all know about the atrocities caused by Nazi Germany during WW2, but very little light is shed on the devastation caused by Imperialist Japan at the time, specifically against the people of the Filipino Isles. During the height of the war women under Japanese control in the Pacific experienced ultimate vulnerability. Girls and young women, which were rarely differentiated from each other, were killed or captured and turned into ‘comfort women’. Now we are not talking about brothels or sex work. These comfot women were taken to comfort homes where they were kept as sex slaves for Japanese soliders. So they were actually serial rape houses, sanctioned by the Japanese military. Rape, abduction, mutilation, executions were all daily threats, so much so that everyday tasks like fetching water, or picking up groceries became to dangerous to do alone. This is what caused one school teacher to rise up and become one of the only female guerrilla captains in her area.

#110 The Abduction Of Valentich
Monday Oct 17, 2022
Monday Oct 17, 2022
It was Oct. 21, 1978, and the sun was setting on the Australian horizon. At 6:19 p.m., a young pilot named Frederick Valentich took off in a rented Cessna 182L from Moorabbin Airport in Victoria. He was en route to King Island, a 130-mile journey over a body of water known as the Bass Strait. The Strait is famous for its difficult flying conditions, but on this night, the skies were clear and the winds calm. Valentich was eager to reach his destination, where his friends awaited, ready to dine on fresh seafood along the water’s edge. Sadly, Valentich never made that dinner date, nor any thereafter. At 7:06 p.m., he called into Air Flight Service, citing an unidentified flying object maneuvering around him. Neither Valentich nor his aircraft were ever found.

#108 The Bigfoot Episode
Monday Sep 26, 2022
Monday Sep 26, 2022
In the Himalayan foothills, it's called a Yeti or abominable snowman. In Russia they say Almasty. In Cazar, NC they call him Knobby. The rest of North America refers to them as Bigfoot or Sasquatch. Less than a decade ago, many who believed in aliens were called crazy or fanatic, paranoid, even. But now the United States actually has a SpaceForce dedicated to protecting our planet.
So is it really hard to believe that there is a species of man-like creatures living in the wild and remote forests of North America?
Let's sort through all the blurry photos, and shaky video and see if we can find some convincing evidence.

#106 The Sullivanians
Monday Aug 29, 2022
Monday Aug 29, 2022
This week we’re talking the about Sullivan Institute for Research in Psychoanalysis, founded by Saul Newton and his then wife, Jane Pearce, in 1957, as a progressive psychoanalytic training school named for one of Newton’s teachers, a psychoanalyst by the name of Harry Stack Sullivan. However the Institute’s approach would go on to diverge radically from Sullivan’s own ideas. It attracted prominent artists, with its experimental vision of relationships suited to ’60s rebelliousness.
The Institute became widely known for its wild Saturday night parties and sexually free summer house in Long Island. Gradually, ex-members say, Newton’s iron grip transformed the group into a reclusive army.
“For years I followed Saul Newton’s orders,” reflects Bray. “I enforced Sullivanian rules about parent-children relationships. There was just one little problem. We fell in love with our kids.”

On July 6, 2003, just after 1pm, 70 year-old Ernestine Harper was lying in bed taking a nap having just returned home from church. Ernestine was an activist in the local area of Bakersfield California, and had only been lying down a little while when she was awoken by gun shots. Ms. Harper pulled an antique revolver from her nightstand that she had purchased months before, she exited her room and was met in the hallway by a killer with a gun. She was able to pull the trigger six times, but because of the age and condition of the gun, all six were misfires. And Ernestine was gunned down. Two days later the entire community of Bakersfield was alerted that a family of five had been murdered. Ernestine, her daughter Joanie and Joanie's three young children (4,2,6 weeks)were all found dead in their home. Three generations of the Harpers family had just been erased. There has been a conviction in these murders that you will not believe, but now the man originally suspected of killing the family of five is suspected to be innocent.
